FAQ
For video, our focus is completely on true candid storytelling. We want to focus on the pure emotion felt throughout the day. But even with any posed shots, we rely heavily on creating movement and giving posing prompts that help show case your personality. Most of our packages all include full length videos of moments like your ceremony, speeches and first dance to help you relive the entire event start to finish.
So much of what makes our videos great relies on how our photographers and videographers work hand in hand. We have a strong philosophy at STM to capture as much of your day as possible in a candid, natural way. Even down to posing, our photographers know to give prompts that will create movement and reactions. Photographers who don't always work with videographers are not use to capturing shots that work well for both photo and video. This very best version of your video we want to give you requires our photographers!
All we can guarantee is that there will be a drone in our gear with batteries charged and ready to fly. But some locations have restrictions. Our range to a major airport can affect it along with certain restrictions that some venues personally enforce. Weather can also play an impact if is rainy and extremely windy; safety will always be a top priority for us. You can always check with us and your venue to help figure out if there will be any restrictions ahead of time. But trust us, we WANT to fly the drone...
We always provide a download link to the raw footage when requested. We do not guarantee the quality of it or that your computer will be able to play it back. Due to the file size and type of footage we capture, it takes a fairly high end computer and software in order to play it back.
