Highlights are useful for getting a quick sense of style, but they only show part of the story.
When you're seriously considering a photographer or videographer, looking deeper helps you understand how they handle an entire wedding not just the ten photographs or sixty seconds that were easiest to post online.
1. Can we see more than just highlight images or films?
Don't only ask, “Are these photographs or films beautiful?”
Ask:
Can I tell who these couples are?
Look for personality. Relationships. Reactions. Different types of weddings. Real moments alongside intentionally created work.
A strong portfolio should show more than a vendor's style. It should show their ability to understand different couples.
